I never heard of Xacuti masala, until I read yesterday´s round-up. Very very educational.
Re: Okra advice - Wow, i didnt know that the sliminess was the thing some people would find unappetizing. I was totally attracted to it... :)
So, I ll keep the advice in y mind, however, I think I ll stick to my gooey cooking. After all, my Tom seemed to enjoy the dish just as much as I did :)zlamushkahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12359856305294505035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-187939946987190646.post-12162774372109753022007-07-23T00:16:00.000+02:002007-07-23T00:16:00.000+02:00Zlamushka, thank you so much for your lovely entry...Zlamushka, thank you so much for your lovely entry! Okra is one of my favorite veggies, and I am so glad you got a chance to taste it. Many people don't like the slimy texture of okra...but you seem to be a true okra lover!
One tip for getting less slimy results: After washing the okra, dry each one carefully with a kitchen towel before chopping it. When there is no water on the okra, it results in less slime.Nupurhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03890441057480820053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-187939946987190646.post-83699678286408145942007-07-22T15:48:00.000+02:002007-07-22T15:48:00.000+02:00ooh,I love okra and yours looks sooo good!!ooh,I love okra and yours looks sooo good!!Dhanahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16790459908243101356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-187939946987190646.post-27034248727577268982007-07-21T14:09:00.000+02:002007-07-21T14:09:00.000+02:00Hi Ayseyaman,It is always nice to hear supportive ...Hi Ayseyaman,

It is always nice to hear supportive comments.
