T&T - Mahanandi

I don´t think introducing lovely Indira is at all necessary. I remember reading her posts long before I even knew what blogging was and never even thought of having one myself. Now, a few years later, I still enjoy catching up with her wonders admiring her love and devotion to Indian cuisine.

Mahanandi features not only delicious recipes, but also wonderful pictures and detailed history about a particular dish. It is never boring to read through her posts, as one can learn a lot in one go. Even though I am a huge fan of home-made soy milk and make a few litres on regular basis, I was surprised to find out about other methods of "milking the soy cow" that I was never aware of. This is what Mahanandi is to me - an eye-opening experience...

I am very proud to feature Mahanandi in October´s T&T and would love to encourage everyone to try a few tricks on their own. I promise you will not regret!

The rules are simple:

  1. Cook any recipe(s) from Mahanandi and post about it. Stay as true to the original recipe(s) as possible. Therefore, there is no need for re-posting it, simply link to the original post :-)
    1. There is no time-frame for the original recipe. It can be as old as my grand-mother or as fresh as a mung bean sprout.
    2. Have you cooked from Indira before? As this event is all about tasting and reflecting on the taste, older posts are also welcome. Simply link to this post and mention T&T event.
  2. Link your post to HERE (feel free to use the logo) and to the original post. Please always link to both sites, so both blogs are given credit and you are avoiding copyright fuss.
  3. Send me an e-mail (zlamushka@hotmail.com) with your name, your post URL as well as the original URL and a picture (300px by height, please).
  4. Deadline is the October 31st 2008 and the round up will be posted within a week.
Non-bloggers are more than welcome to participate (after all, our posts are mainly being written for them). Simply e-mail me (zlamushka@hotmail.com) with your experience of what you cooked and please include a picture.

The round up will be posted during the first week in November.

Excuse my impatience, I have already started cooking. Just made Indira´s Pappula Podi, which I used as filling in patties. De-lish ;-)

Happy Cooking and feel free to contact us, if you need any help. Oh, and feel free to use the logo, when posting your creations ;-)

Since you extended the T&T deadline, I thought I would see if I couldn't participate. But I am unable to open Indira's site.
Do you know if anyone else is having the same problem?

HI Aparna,
I certainly did, as I have so few time to sit down and compile the round-up. I checked the link to Mahanandi and it works for me... PLease try again.
